Sugizo GIG 2009 ~Next Phase of Cosmic Dance~

Just wanted to post these before they collect too much dust. The experience and memories along with the event was just entirely too amazing.

And one of my favs from rehearsal:

~

His stage presence is just so incredible, one really has to see him live for the experience.

I've still yet to go through the images from our collaboration, the current project is eating up my nights and days like a monster. We're almost 70% done with the dresses for the shoot now, I hope they can be finished tomorrow so I can have Sunday to work on the story.

Honestly I didn't expect January to start out in such an explosively busy manner, I'd said more noes for this month alone than I did the entire of last year. Hopefully I can stick with the resolutions of spending time primarily on personal work, and present the new book and exhibitions as planned.

Just want to say a proper thank you to everyone for your support the past years. I'll be trying my best, so let's work hard together for this new year.

Chase your dreams with ardent passion and never give up.

Be brave, be strong.

OMG. that female bassist is TOKEI! She's my idol and she looks so nice here (well, she's always cute). Thanks for taking such beautiful pictures

When you're not an inspiration for our art, you're an inspiration for our lives. And it's been so for some years now, and every day it seems more true.

Thank you very much, dear, and good luck with your projects :)

Such powerful images!

Better to have to say no to some potential clients, than to have no clients at all :D

Hope things continue to go in a positive direction for you!

Those are gorgeous! What an amazing experience it surely was for you.

I have to say that the last one, the one you said was from rehearsal, is my favorite.

Well, you certainly are keeping yourself busy. I hope you are able to get everything done, focus the time you want on personal work, and work on that book and exhibition.

Have a good weekend!

Amazingly done. Nice crisp photos with light that worked with the band rather than distract. You should consider to do bands more often.

Wow. It's just... amazing that you got to photograph him during his concerts and rehearsals! My favorite of the photos you showed was the one of him with the violin and the light shining from behind. It really evokes the OMGWTFBBQ type feeling of seeing a true rockstar up on stage. And he's got a gorgeous figure. I hope you took lots more!

Just a question but did you have free run around the stage or were you assigned a spot? Was it possible to move around for different angles? As a fan of rehearsals, I would also love to see some backstage stuff. Anyways, you are truly blessed. Man. *Is jealous*
